Mumbai. There is anger all over India regarding the Kolkata rape and murder case. From common man to politicians, actors, everyone is strongly condemning it. Many celebs including Ayushmann Khurrana, Ali Goni, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma expressed grief over the rape and murder of the doctor in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Now veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has expressed grief over this. He expressed condolences to the victim’s family and demanded that the people involved in the incident should be punished as soon as possible.
Mithun Chakraborty, apart from being an actor, is also a BJP leader. He has described the situation in West Bengal as horrific. He says that the situation in West Bengal will be more horrific in the coming days. He said, “I have been saying many times in many places that the situation in West Bengal will be very scary in the coming days… being a Bengali, I am not able to walk with my head held high.”
West Bengal BJP has shared a video of Mithun Chakraborty on its social media account. In this video, Mithun further says, “My condolences to the family of the deceased doctor. Those who are involved in this incident should be punished as soon as possible, this is my wish.” Along with this, he also raised questions on the law and order of West Bengal.
