Lava, one of the big smartphone companies, will soon launch its Blaze 3 5G in India. The company has given information about the design, colors and camera of this smartphone. It will replace the Lava Blaze 2 5G introduced last year. Blaze 2 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 6020 as the processor. Its dual rear camera unit has a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Lava has launched a new app on social media platform X Post has confirmed the launch of Blaze 3 5G in the country. However, its launch date has not been given. The teaser video given with this post shows the design of this smartphone. It is in Beige and Black colors. There is a square shaped camera module on the right corner of its rear panel. The front of this smartphone has a hole punch cutout. Its camera island has a light ring, the company has called it ‘Vibe Light’.

This smartphone will have 50 megapixel dual rear cameras with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support. It will have an 8 megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. It has flat edges and slim bezels. Blaze 3 5G can be upgraded compared to Blaze 2 5G introduced in November last year. The Blaze 2 5G variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage was priced at Rs 9,999. This smartphone was made available in Glass Blue, Glass Lavender and Glass Black colors. It has a 6.56 inch HD + (720 x 1,600 pixels) display. The 5,000 mAh battery of Blaze 2 5G supports 18 W charging.

In the first half of the current year, shipments of 5G smartphones in the country have increased by 60 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Most smartphone companies have launched new handsets in this segment. Market research firm Counterpoint reports that international shipments of 5G smartphones have increased by 20 percent year-on-year in the first half. With this, the share of 5G devices in all shipments of smartphones has increased to more than 50 percent. China ranks first with about 32 percent share in international shipments of 5G smartphones.
