New Delhi: Harman Baweja has called Amitabh Bachchan a ‘true legend’. He is the distributor of the Hindi version of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth starrer film ‘Vettaiyaan’. He said that it is really an honor for me to get the opportunity to work with legends like Big B and superstar Rajinikanth. Harman Baweja says that Amitabh Bachchan has once again proved himself better with Rajinikanth starrer film ‘Vettaiyaan’.
The actor told that Amitabh Bachchan’s films and his behavior have played a huge role in his life and have molded me as a person. Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth have worked together in the film ‘Vettaiyan’ after 33 years of the 1991 film ‘Hum’. The film is distributed by Baweja Studios and produced by Subhaskaran Aliraja’s Lyca Productions. ‘Vettaiyaan’ is now running in theaters across the world.
Not a good start in Bollywood
Harman acted in the 2008 film ‘Love Story 2050’, 2009 film ‘What’s Your Rashi?’ Has acted in films like. He has also worked in ‘Vijay’, ‘Dishkiyaun’ and ‘It’s My Life’. He had distanced himself from Bollywood after consecutive flop films. In the year 2023, he made a comeback with the drama series ‘Scoop’ based on Jigna Vora’s biography ‘Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison’. According to the IANS report, this series is the true story of Jigna Vora, who was accused of murdering a reporter. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the series also stars Karishma Tanna, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deven Bhojani.
‘Big B’ debut in Tamil cinema
Talking about ‘Vettaiyaan’, the Tamil action drama film T.J. Written and directed by Gyanvel. It stars Rajinikanth in the role of Athiyan, a senior police officer who accidentally shoots an innocent man during an encounter while investigating the murder of a teacher. This is ‘Big B”s first step in Tamil films. The film stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ravindra Jaggi, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami and Ramesh Thilak. It has been shot at many places including Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunelveli, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
