Tata Motors-owned luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover has today (December 19) launched the made-in-India SUV Range Rover Sport in the Indian market. The new car has been introduced with features like massaging front seats and heads-up display.
The starting price of the new luxury SUV has been kept at Rs 1.45 crore (ex-showroom). It is priced Rs 5 lakh more than the price of the locally assembled Range Rover Sport as the brand has discontinued the Dynamic SE variant.
At the same time, the Made in India SUV is Rs 25 lakh cheaper than the completely built unit and will compete with luxury SUV cars like Porsche Cayenne (starting at Rs 1.43 crore) and BMW X7 (starting at Rs 1.3 crore) in India. For this, JLR will offer 5 variants of Range Rover Sport.
