Mahindra Starts Bookings of Xev 9E, Be 6 Electric SUVs, Know Pries, Range

Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the large automobile companies, has started booking the XEV 9E and BE 6 electric SUVs. The manufacturing company of XEV 9E and BE 6, introduced last year, is being done at Chakan’s plant in Maharashtra. These electric SUVs will be delivered from next month.

The company has started taking XEV 9E and BE 6 to its dealerships. Mahindra & Mahindra has a major stake in the SUV market. However, Tata Motors ranks first in the segment of electric vehicles (EV). The company has made BE 6 available in five variants. The price of BE 6 range from Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The XEV 9E has four variants. Its prices are between about 21.90 lakh rupees and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

However, for these electric SUVs, AC Wall Box Charger will be paid the price. Mahindra & Mahindra has fixed a price of about Rs 50,000 of 7.7 kw AC charger and about Rs 75,000 for a charger of 11.2 kW. The XEV 9E and BE 6 have received a five-star rating in the India NCAP crash test. The company claims that the range of BE 6’s 59 kwh battery pack variants is about 535 km and 79 kwh about 682 kilometers. The range of 59 kwh battery of XEV 9E is about 542 km and 79 kwh variants of about 656 km.

At the end of last year, the company decided to temporarily change the name of Be 6e to ‘BE 6’. The Interglobe Aviation, which runs the IndiGo airline, had described the ‘6e’ trademark as its own and filed a petition against the company in the Delhi High Court. Interglobe Aviation said in this petition that for the last 18 years ‘6E’ is an important part of his identity and registered trademark. The dispute said in a statement given by Mahindra & Mahindra, “The company’s Be 6E is not a market standalone 6E. We believe it is different from Indigo’s 6E, which represents an airline. .
