Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, while talking to Curly Tales, shared an anecdote related to her college and mother. He said- Mother often got calls from the college due to my low attendance.
Started working during college itself – Malaika
During this conversation, Malaika was asked a question about how she started modeling while she was in college. To which the actress replied, ‘I completed two years in Jai Hind College and then started modeling. However, it was quite difficult because my mother started getting calls from the college saying that my college attendance was less. My attendance had reduced because I had started working in some advertisements and some shows. After receiving repeated calls from the college, the actress told her mother that she wanted to work because she wanted to be independent.
Malaika made her Bollywood debut with the song Chaiya Chaiya from the film Dil Se, released in 1998.
The actress wanted fame and independence
During this conversation, another question was asked to the actress whether she wanted fame and independence. Answering this question, Malaika said- I always wanted to be independent. I had to do something that gave me value. As far as money is concerned, money was not that important for me. If we work, we definitely get money.
Started modeling at the age of 17

The actress said- I did not want to work because I needed to run my house. But I felt that through this I could help my mother. This is a good approach because my mother is a single parent. Not that my mother ever expected this, but I felt that it was my responsibility as the elder daughter.

Parents got divorced when he was 11 years old
