Maruti Suzuki has launched the special Radiance Edition of the entry level hatchback Ignis in the Indian market. This is an accessories version like the Maruti Brezza Urbano Edition. The company has introduced it with some cosmetic updates.

The price of the special Radiance edition of Maruti Suzuki Ignis starts from Rs 5.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 8.06 lakh in the top variant. This price is Rs 35 thousand less than the regular variant. The special edition of Ignis is not available in the mid variant Delta. It competes with Tata Tiago, Maruti WagonR, Maruti Celerio, Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.

What’s new in Ignis Radiance Edition?
The base variant of the Ignis Radiance Edition comes with all wheel covers, door visors and chrome body side moldings for Rs 3650. If you buy all these accessories separately, their total cost is Rs 5320.

If you buy the Radiance edition of the top line models Zeta and Alpha, then you will get accessories like seat cover, cushion, door cladding and door visor, which cost a total of Rs 9500. If you buy all these accessories separately, then their price can be Rs 11,970.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Performance
Maruti has given a 1.2-liter petrol engine for performance in Ignis, which generates 83hp of power and 113Nm of torque. The engine is available with the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox. The company claims that the mileage of both its manual and automatic versions is 20.89kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Features
The car has features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic AC, height adjustable driver seat, keyless entry and push button start-stop. For the safety of the passengers, Maruti has provided safety features like dual front airbags, reverse camera and electronic stability program (ESP).
