While Bijnor police arrested 4 accused in the actor Mushtaq Khan kidnap case on Saturday, Meerut police has arrested Lavi’s close friend Arjun Karnwal. The Scorpio car used in the kidnap and Rs 2 lakh have been recovered from Arjun.

It is clear from Arjun’s statement that all the henchmen who were caught in Meerut and Bijnor were only working on the tasks given by Lavi. Only Lavi played the real game. In such a situation, after the arrest of Lavi, shocking information may come to light in these two kidnap cases.
Meerut SSP Dr. Vipin Tada says that the entire story of the kidnapping will come out after the arrest of master mind Lavi. The accused were working at the behest of Lavi. The police is investigating the entire matter.
In fact, it was only after the kidnapping of comedian Sunil Pal that the matter of kidnapping of Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan came to light. After the kidnapping case of Sunil Pal was registered in Mumbai, the case has been transferred to Meerut. Only after that the story of kidnapping of actor Mushtaq came to light. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada told that Lavi and Arjun had purchased jewelery from two jewelers in Meerut with the ransom money. At present the police is investigating the entire matter. The whole truth will come out after Lavi’s arrest.
4 arrests made in Bijnor
SP Bijnor said on Saturday that on 09 December 2024, Shivam Yadav, event manager of cine actor Mushtaq Mohammad Khan, lodged a complaint at police station Kotwali city that on 15 October, people senior to Mushtaq Mohammad Khan were honored in Meerut by a person named Rahul Saini from Meerut. A phone conversation was held regarding the event. Rahul Saini sent an advance payment of Rs 25,000 for the event and booked a flight ticket for the actor from Mumbai to Delhi on 20th December.
Mushtaq Mohammad Khan sat in the cab booked by Rahul Saini from Delhi Airport. From there he was brought to Meerut. On the way, the cab driver stopped the vehicle and made Mushtaq Mohammad Khan sit in another vehicle saying that it would go to Meerut. After going some distance, two people sat in the car.
Mushtaq kidnapped Mohammad Khan and took him to a house. Money was demanded. Took the phone password. On the morning of 21. November, Mushtaq Khan escaped from them and returned back to Mumbai. His mobile, bag and other belongings were left with the kidnappers. Through mobile banking, the kidnappers withdrew approximately Rs 2 lakh 20 thousand from his bank account through purchases and cash transfers.

In this case, the police arrested Sarthak Chaudhary alias Rikki son of Rajeev Kumar resident of Mohalla Jatan Kotwali Bijnor, Sabiuddin alias Sambi son of Salimuddin resident of Mohalla Acharjan Sabzi Mandi Kotwali Bijnor, Azim son of Naseem Ahmed resident of Mohalla Kassaban Kotwali district Bijnor and Shashank Kumar son of Spendra Kumar resident of B- 162 Janakpuri police station Sahibabad Ghaziabad was arrested. Rs 104000 were recovered from the accused.

Lavi had made planning, had said that he would earn a lot of money
The arrested Ricky alias Sarthak told that he was a former councilor of the municipality. Lavi is his friend, he planned this incident completely. He has known Lavi for about 10 years. Some time ago he had defeated Lavi in a fight, due to which he became a close friend of Lavi. Lavi told that he knows many actors of Mumbai. Lavi also told him that after paying money, actors do not complain to the police because of their notoriety. After telling all these things, Lavi took him and his friends Sabiuddin, Azim and others with him. Lavi promised that everyone will share whatever money they get.
On 20th November, Sarthak, Lavi, Akash, Shiva, Arjun, Ankit, Azim, Shubham and Sabiuddin left for Delhi in a rented Swift Dezire and Lavi’s Scorpio. In Ghaziabad he met Lavi’s friend Shashank, who had booked plane tickets for the actor’s arrival. Shashank also joined them.
Sitting where there is no CCTV
These people reached near Jain Shikanji restaurant located on Delhi border, there was no CCTV camera here and started waiting for the actor. Lavi was continuously talking to actor Mushtaq Mohammad Khan posing as Rahul Saini. Lavi had booked a cab to bring the actor from the airport, which reached near Akshardham temple with the actor around 04 pm. The car booked from Delhi was returned to the restaurant and the actor was seated in the Scorpio. Lavi and some of his other friends sat in the Scorpio and others went back towards Bijnor in Swift Dezire. Till then the actor did not know that he had been kidnapped. On the way, these people captured the actor. Brought to Lavi’s flat in Bijnor. The accused misbehaved with the actor and took his mobile phone, purse, bag etc. and forcibly took bank account details and password etc. from him. It became late in the night with all this work. As soon as he got a chance in the morning, actor Mushtaq left all his belongings and ran away from there.
Shopping in Muzaffarnagar and Meerut
On November 21, the accused went to Muzaffarnagar through UPI from the actor’s mobile and withdrew about Rs 2 lakh 20 thousand and made purchases from public service center, cyber café, ration shop, mobile shop etc. In which the accused made UPI payment from the actor’s mobile and took Rs 25,250 from the mobile shop located at Jansath Road and Rs 25,400 from the mobile shop located at Sujdu Khalapar. Bought ration worth Rs 26,000 from Vishal Traders and mixer and heating rod etc. from New Bharat Electronic Shop, Khatauli. Similarly, the accused transacted money from other shops and public service centers.
Many big actors were not invited because of token money
Lavi had told friends that he asked about token money from many big actors for the event but their fees were very high. After which Lavi planned to target the small actor.
Actor Rajesh Puri was also invited
During interrogation, the accused told that earlier also they had invited actor Rajesh Puri to the event but the actor had taken a selfie with the accused and sent it to one of his acquaintances, due to which they could not attend the event.
Six accused including Lavi are absconding
1. Lavi alias Sushant alias Himanshu, son of late Jaipal Singh, resident of Nai Basti police station, Kotwali city, district Bijnor.
2. Akash alias Gola alias Deependra, son of Asharam, resident of Chahshiri police station, Kotwali city, district Bijnor.
3. Shiva son of Lekhraj Singh

4. Arjun Karnawal, son of Ravi, resident of Bulla’s intersection, police station, Kotwali city, district Bijnor.
5. Ankit alias Pahadi, son of Ravi Khanna, resident of Sai Mandir, Mohalla Shambha Bazar, Police Station Kotwali City, Bijnor.
6. Shubham (Lavi’s cousin)
There are 10 cases against the accused Sarthak Chaudhary alias Siddharth alias Ricky in several police stations including murder, attempt to murder.

Lavi had gone to Mumbai 3 years ago
Police investigation has revealed that Lavi, who kidnapped Sunil Pal and Mushtaq Khan, had gone to Mumbai 3 years ago. During this time, he got acquainted with many Bollywood artists. He became close to many artists.
By taking photographs with those artists, he deceived many youths into working with Bollywood artists. After this he also cheated those youths.
Lavi Pal works to give money on interest. He has also contested the councilor election. In 2016, he was jailed in a theft case.

These same accused kidnapped comedian Sunil Pal. Only after this the news of kidnapping of Mushtaq Khan came to light. Sunil Pal’s case has been transferred to Meerut after being registered in Maharashtra.
The police called comedian Sunil Pal to Mumbai’s Santa Cruz police station two days ago. Here police station in-charge Yogendra Kumar recorded Sunil’s statement. Sunil told that throughout his life he kept making people laugh and kept advising them not to panic due to fear. But the day of 2nd December gave him a very scary and unforgettable experience. I have never been as scared as I was that day.
Those 22 hours of my life were very scary. I was thinking of running away from there every moment, sometimes wondering whether I would be able to reach my loved ones safely.
Told – After kidnapping, the accused made me lie on the bed, but he used to sleep on the floor near the bed. Snatched my mobile, asked for the password and obtained my personal information from it. After this the accused started scaring and threatening me. Threatened to kill by injecting poison. Tortured me.
I was so scared, I did whatever the accused asked, I said whatever was called.
Sunil Pal told that Bijnor resident Lavi Pal and former councilor Sarthak alias Ricky formed a fake event company with their 8 associates. Through him I was booked and called to Meerut. Booked me for the event on 2nd December and comedian Mushtaq Khan on 21st November. Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped on reaching Meerut.
Then in a similar manner, I was called and kidnapped from Meerut on the pretext of organizing a program in Haridwar. Both of us were kidnapped and kept in Bijnor. He told the police point to point the story from Delhi to Meerut, from being kidnapped till his release.

During police investigation, the criminals who kidnapped comedian Sunil Pal were found to be residents of Bijnor. The main accused were identified as Lavi Pal and Arjun Karnwal, residents of Bijnor. Meerut Police identified the accused by scanning more than 100 CCTV cameras of the city.

According to comedian Sunil Pal, he was invited to an event in Haridwar on the night of 2 December. Sunil Pal reached Delhi from Mumbai by flight. Sunil Pal was kidnapped between Delhi and Meerut. Kidnappers brought Sunil Pal to Meerut. He was blindfolded and kept in Meerut.
A ransom of Rs 8 lakh was demanded by calling friends. The entire ransom amount was collected online. After this, the miscreants bought jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh from Akash Ganga Jewelers in Begumpul and jewelery worth Rs 2.25 lakh from Akshit Singhal’s shop in Jawahar Quarter. Bills were made in the name of Sunil Pal at both the places. A copy of Sunil Pal’s Aadhar card and PAN card was also given.
On December 3, the miscreants asked for Rs 8 lakh ransom online. After getting the money, the miscreants gave me Rs 20 thousand for the flight ticket. After this they left me in Lalkurti police station area.
According to Sunil Pal, 16 days ago a young man named Anil called and introduced himself as the director of the event company. He asked Sunil to come to an event in Haridwar. For this, some amount was also transferred to Sunil Pal.
When Sunil reached Delhi on 2nd December, the event company sent a car to take him to Haridwar. As soon as Sunil sat in the car, the accused took him hostage.
