German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India has launched the new E-Class Long Wheelbase in the Indian market. The updated luxury sedan has received several design changes and technical improvements. Apart from this, for safety, it has been provided with features like 8 airbags, ADAS and 360 degree camera for passenger safety.
The car has been introduced with three variants – E200, E220d and E450 4Matic. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 78.5 lakh. Deliveries of the E200 variant will begin soon, while deliveries of other variants will begin by the end of this year. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class long-wheelbase competes with the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series long-wheelbase.
Its production will be done in the company’s Pune manufacturing facility. The special thing is that India is the only market on the global label, where the right hand drive (RHD) version of the LWB E-Class is made.
