Mercedes-Benz India today launched the Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ electric SUV. The EV will be offered in a single variant, 250+. The Mercedes EQA 250+ is an all-electric version of the GLA SUV and will be made available in India via CBU. The EV comes standard with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km for the battery pack. Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ electric SUV 66 Lakh The company also offers an extended warranty package at a starting price of Rs 42,000, which offers 3 years or unlimited kilometer warranty along with periodic maintenance at Rs 1 per km.

Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ Power & Range

Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ has a 70.5 kWh lithium ion battery. It has a single front mounted electric motor that generates 188bhp of power and 385Nm of torque. The WLTP certified range of the EV is 560 km. The battery can be fully charged in just 7 hours and 15 minutes through an 11 kW AC charger. At the same time, the battery can be fully charged from 10 to 80% in just 35 minutes through a 100 kW DC charger. Mercedes claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds. Its top speed is 160 kilometers.

Talking about dimensions, the length of EQA is 4,463 mm, width 1,834 mm, height 1,624 mm and wheelbase 2,729 mm. This EV is available in 7 color options Polar White, Cosmos Black, High-tech Silver, Mountain Grey, Spectral Blue, MANUFAKTUR Patagonia Red and MANUFAKTUR Mountain Grey Magno color options.

Talking about the interiors, the dashboard layout has an all-black theme. It includes dual 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, turbine-style air conditioning vents, ambient lighting, dual zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, wireless charger, front seats with electrical adjustment, 12 speaker 710 Watt Burmester 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos, augmented reality navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, Mercedes Me Connect with OTA updates, gesture control MBUX connect features and many more.

In terms of design, the overall silhouette is similar to the GLA but it gets a larger grille and grille LED light bar with Mercedes’ signature star pattern. The EV gets 19-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it looks similar to the EQB with slim LED taillights with LED light bars that are placed below the number plate on the bumper. It gets an integrated spoiler, silver roof rails, black body cladding and a diffusor at the bottom.
