Royal Enfield has launched the Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 at its annual biking event Motoverse on Saturday (23 November). This bobber-style motorcycle is based on the company’s most popular bike Classic 350. It has been introduced with four color options. This includes Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze and Shake Black color options.

The motorcycle has been launched in two variants. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 2.35 lakh and for the dual tone color option it is Rs 2.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The direct competition of the bike will be with Jawa 42 Bobber. Apart from this, it will give competition to Benelli Imperiale 400 and Honda H’ness 350.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Design and features The Gone Classic 350 looks similar to the company’s popular bike Classic 350, but the company has made some bobber-specific changes in it. Like the Classic 350, it has round LED headlights, teardrop shaped fuel tank and curved fenders. The seat height of the bike is 750mm.

Special features of the bike include a single-piece seat, ape hanger handlebar, forward-set footpegs, slash-cut exhaust pipe, USB charging port, wire-spoke wheels and thick tyres. Apart from this, it has been provided with round tail lamp, turn indicators, semi-digital instrument cluster. Like other models, all accessories and customization options will be available with it too.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Hardware The motorcycle has been provided with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels. For comfort riding, the motorcycle has 41mm telescopic forks at the front and 6-step preload adjustable twin shock absorber unit at the rear.

Talking about the braking system, it has a 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. Drum brakes at the rear can be provided with single-channel ABS in the base variant.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Performance Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 will get a 349cc J-series single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which generates 20hp power at 6100rpm and 27Nm peak torque at 4000rpm. For transmission the engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine setup is also found in Royal Enfield’s Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Hunter 350. However, the company has not disclosed the engine specifications.
