Allu Arjun starrer most awaited film Pushpa- The Rule has been released. The length of this film, a crime and action thriller, is 3 hours 20 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.
What is the story of the film? Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), who was an ordinary laborer in the first film, has now become the biggest smuggler supplying red sandalwood. He makes deals worth thousands of crores. It is obvious that his enemies have also increased. SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) has still not been able to forget the last insult. He keeps waging a campaign against Pushpa and her associates every day.
Amidst all this, Pushpa’s swag has increased even more. He is ready to do anything at any cost for his self-respect. Not only this, when the Chief Minister of the state refuses to get photographed with him, he pulls off a coup using money and power.
This time Pushpa makes the biggest deal of sandalwood for Rs 5000 crores. He wants to send all the goods abroad, but Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat becomes the biggest obstacle in his path. Now whether Pushpa is able to save his goods from Bhanwar or not, you will have to watch the film.
Apart from all this, a lot goes on in Pushpa’s personal life too. Pushpa’s brother Mohan still taunts her by calling her illegitimate. However, in the end something happens that opens Mohan’s eyes and he apologizes to Pushpa.
The trailer of the film was released two and a half weeks ago.
How is the acting of the star cast? It is obvious that only two actors will be seen in the entire film. First Allu Arjun and second Fahadh Faasil. Allu Arjun has done amazing acting. Some scenes are going to give goosebumps. Pushpa’s swag suits him very well.
Dance and action cannot be praised enough. This time Allu Arjun has done something which he might never have done. The action she has shown on screen wearing a saree is perhaps rarely seen.
Also, even though Fahadh Faasil is in a negative role, his mischievous style was liked a lot. Sometimes angry and sometimes joking, his facial expressions also look amazing. It will be fun to see his face off and bickering with Allu Arjun.
Here it is also important to talk about Rashmika Mandanna. This time he has got more screen time than last time. He has also done justice to his role.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Pushpa’s wife i.e. Srivalli.
How is the direction? Sukumar has done both the writing and direction of the film. Sukumar has got the best work possible from Allu Arjun. Rather, more has been taken out.
The story is absolutely fresh and also interestingly crafted. The action scenes are amazing. Dialogues are also well written. However, some shortcomings remain. In the end the film dragged unnecessarily. Could have easily trimmed 20 to 25 minutes. Sukumar missed a bit this time in making the film crisp.
Here the cinematographer of the film also deserves praise. He deserves praise for the larger than life style in which he has shown the locations and action sequences.
How is the music of the film? This time the songs are much cheaper than the previous film. The standard that Samantha had created in the previous film with ‘Oo Antwa’ is seen going completely into the abyss here.
There are many songs, but not a single one is worth dancing to. Allu Arjun and Rashmika’s dance in just one or two songs has made it a little bearable. There is no hesitation in saying that the songs of the film are the weak link.
Allu Arjun was seen dancing as Devi in a song of the film.
Final Verdict, watch or not? The film is definitely worth watching once. If you are fond of action films, then you should go with your eyes closed. The action is such that one can keep one’s mouth open. Yes, don’t look for logic by mistake. Those who liked the previous Pushpa are going to enjoy this time too. Just a little patience may be the answer in the end.
One more thing, an update has also been given regarding Pushpa-3 in the climax. It seems that some new characters may be seen next time.
