Jensen Huang, head of American semiconductor chip manufacturing company Nvidia, attended the ‘NVIDIA AI Summit India’ today. During this time he launched the Hindi AI model.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani also attended the event along with the CEO of Nvidia. Huang and Ambani talked about AI and India. This event has started on October 23 at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, which will continue till October 25.
Ambani compared NVIDIA to knowledge
Ambani said- While listening to you, I remembered that NVIDIA is a foreign name, but it has a deep meaning. The word “Vidya” translates to “knowledge” in Hindi.
Jensen said the name NVIDIA was well chosen. Everyone said you’d never find success with that name, but I knew it was right.
Huang asked Ambani- What inspires you?
Huang asked- ‘No one has helped India become high-tech like you. I know you have deep aspirations to make India deep tech. what motivates you?’
Ambani said- ‘We are committed to making the best LLM in Hindi. Our first principle is to take what you are doing in the context of the Knowledge Revolution and convert it into an Intelligence Revolution. We are at the doorstep of the Intelligence Age.
