‘My career…’ Shoojit Sircar did 5 films with Amitabh, 1 movie with Abhishek, told how it affected his career?

Mumbai. Shoojit Sircar has worked with both Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan. She has worked with Big B in ‘Shoebite’, ‘Piku’, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and ‘Pink’. At the same time, he has directed Abhishek for the first time in ‘I Want to Talk’. This film has been released today i.e. on 22nd November. Abhishek was seen in a completely different style in the trailer of the film. He had never played such a character before. Amitabh had praised Abhishek and the film only after the trailer.

Now, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Shosha, Shoojit Sircar revealed that there is a similarity between the two. Although he admits that it is unfair to make comparisons between them, he says, “He is a real gentleman. They are very well behaved. His etiquette is different from everyone else. The way they deal with us is different from everyone else.”

Shoojit Sircar said, “Abhishek Bachchan has a lot of respect for his directors, writers and everyone on the set and he has learned this from Mr. Bachchan (Amitabh). Both of them know very well what it takes to make a film beyond the basics like punctuality. Amitabh Bachchan remembers his lines very well and he has taught this to Abhishek as well.”

However, Amitabh Bachchan is already personally waiting for his reaction to ‘I Want to Talk’. He said, “He is a legend and I always wait for his reaction. I have worked with him in 4 films and even though we share a special chemistry, we still look at him with great respect and reverence.”

Shoojit Sircar said, “We are very grateful to him that he came into our lives. He agreed to work with me in ‘Shoebite’ and it is because of him that I have this career. I will always be grateful to him.” Let us tell you that ‘Shoebite’ was scheduled to be released in 2019, but has not been released yet.
