After this announcement, Indians were disappointed because Kiran Rao’s film ‘Lapata Ladies’ was out of the Oscar race. Many netizens gave strong reactions to this. Apart from this, Grammy Award winner Ricky Cage tweeted that this film was the wrong choice to represent India at the Oscar Awards ceremony. Now Ravi Kishan, who played an important role in the film, has reacted on this.
‘Missing Ladies’ actress Chhaya Kadam also had a special conversation with News18 Shosha and told that she is very disappointed with this news. Now Ravi Kishan reacted to this news and said, “This is very sad. We hoped that this time India would be successful in it.” However, he is also trying to look at the positive side.
Ravi Kishan told his gut feeling
Ravi Kishan said, “I am happy in that only. We reached the global stage as a small and modest film. There was no known face in it. So, we are proud of what we have achieved. This is no small achievement. We really thought we had a big chance to win an Oscar and bring home the trophy. My gut feeling was that we would win.”

Ravi Kishan further said, “I could not even imagine that a common man like me could reach the Oscars. It was a great pleasure. But there’s always a next time. I know I am a warrior and I will keep fighting. I hope that another great script will come my way and I will once again reach the global stage.”
