New Delhi. NCP leader and former MLA of Bandra West Assembly constituency Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on Saturday evening. His murder has created a stir in political circles and Bollywood. Many stars including Salman Khan, Priya Dutt, Shilpa Shetty came to see him in the hospital. Salman Khan was among the first to go to the hospital.
There was a lot of discussion about the friendship between Baba Siddiqui and Salman Khan in the corridors of Bollywood. Both of them were considered very close to each other. Their relationship was so good that Salman Khan himself went to seek votes for Baba Siddiqui many times.
Vote was demanded for Baba
After his death, an old video of Salman Khan is going viral in which he is seen asking for votes for the former politician. In the video, Salman is seen appealing to the people of Bandra to vote for Baba. On his appeal, the crowd says in one voice – Modi. On this Salman says, ‘For you, the best man here is Modi, in my seat Bandra, the best men there are Baba Siddiqui and Priya Dutt’.
Siddiqui had patched up Salman-Shahrukh
Salman Khan had always been participating in Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party. His Iftar party was considered the biggest party of Bollywood. The biggest stars of Bollywood used to attend there. There was a time when both Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan did not even look at each other, leave alone talking to each other. In such a situation, it was Baba Siddiqui who brought both of them closer to each other. Baba Siddiqui and Shilpa Shetty were also very close. He was also a very good friend of the actress’s husband Raj Kundra.
