The actor also attracts everyone’s attention due to his life. When the name of the superstar’s younger son Abram was revealed, there was a lot of controversy. After the controversy, in an interview, he told the reason for naming his younger son Abram and also explained its meaning.
According to a report by News18 English, Shah Rukh Khan, while answering a question from his fan on Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, said, ‘In Islam, Hazrat Ibrahim is known as Abraham in the Bible and in Judaism it is Abram. I thought that since my wife (Gauri Khan) is Hindu and I am Muslim, the children at home should have a sense of secularism. Many people did not like it and it became a controversy, but I believe that there is secularism in our home just like in our country.’
Shahrukh Khan is busy shooting for ‘King’
Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting for ‘King’. If reports are to be believed, his daughter Suhana Khan and Munjya star Abhay Verma will also be seen in it. Shah Rukh Khan talked about ‘King’ at a film festival and said, ‘It is an action drama. It is a Hindi film. It will be interesting. I have been wanting to do such a film for some time. We felt that Sujoy would be the right choice, because we wanted it to be right on an emotional level.’
King Khan’s ‘big dream’
King Khan wants to do something unique in cinema. He further said, ‘My dream is that an Indian film should be seen in the same way as a big Hollywood film is seen, whether I am a part of it as an actor, producer, writer. I have to start working on my film ‘King’. I have to lose some weight, do some stretching so that my waist does not get stuck while doing action. It is painful.’
