For example, Malpua is offered to some goddesses, things made of milk to others and things made of coconut to others. Day 5- Mother Skandamata is worshiped on the fifth day of Navratri. They are offered yellow fruits or yellow sweets.

Day 6- On the sixth day, honey and moong dal halwa are offered to worship Goddess Katyayani.

Day 7- On the seventh day, jaggery and things made from jaggery are offered to Maa Kalratri.

Day 8- Coconut or coconut barfi is offered to Mahagauri, the eighth form of Mother Goddess.

Day 9- Fruits, gram, puri, kheer and halwa are offered to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Maa Durga.

answer- Navratri starts with the worship of Mother Shailputri. Traditionally, pumpkin barfi is offered to Mother Shailputri. It is believed that Mother Shailputri is very fond of pumpkin barfi.
