New Delhi: The king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has turned 59 years old. He has been ruling the hearts of people since the 90s. He has given superhit films in every era. Shahrukh Khan was not the first choice
‘DDLJ’ was released after Baazigar and truly it was Baazigar that proved to be a game changer in Shahrukh Khan’s long and illustrious career. You will be surprised to know that Shahrukh Khan, who gave the best performance of his career in ‘Baazigar’, was not the first choice of the filmmakers. This film was earlier offered to Anil Kapoor, but he rejected the role.
Filmmakers wanted to cast Anil Kapoor
According to a report in DNAIndia, in an interview given to Komal Nahta, Abbas-Mustan had said, ‘When we were ready with the story of Baazigar, we first went to Anil Kapoor. He was then shooting for ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Rajaat’ and he said that this film is very risky. He said it’s good, but I won’t do it. He politely refused.
