Both of them have worked together in Gangs of Wasseypur, Sacred Games and Raman Raghav 2.0.
Anurag Kashyap told that his first meeting with Nawazuddin Siddiqui was at the railway station where he was carrying the bag of actor Rajpal Yadav. ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ director says, ‘Rajpal Yadav was a very good actor but he was leaving Mumbai because he was deeply disappointed. There was an actor Ashraf Ulhaq who is no more, he told me to talk to Rajpal Yadav and show him a ray of hope.
