Mumbai. After the appreciation received in ’12 Fail’ and ‘Sector 36’, the teaser of another film of Vikrant Massey has been launched. This film is based on a real incident. The name of the film is ‘The Sabarmati Report’. Apart from Vikrant, Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna are also in lead and special roles in the film. Based on a historical and painful incident, the film depicts the tragedy of 2002 which shook the entire country from within. A long court trial is also shown in it, in which Vikrant’s character is seen advocating.
The teaser of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ shows that the film boldly tries to reveal the truth of what happened on the Sabarmati Express near Godhra Railway Station on the morning of 27 February 2002. In the film, Vikrant Massey plays the role of a journalist, who gets to the bottom of the truth of the Godhra incident, but himself gets trapped in a trap.
The trial is going on against him in the court and through arguments, he exposes the truth of Godhra incident and the hypocrisy of the politics and media behind it. The teaser is quite interesting. Its background music makes the visuals and dialogues even more attractive and impactful.
In the teaser of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, some important questions have been asked, like: What actually happened? Who has information about the past? Who gave wrong information? And how does it affect us today? After watching the film, perhaps the answers to these questions will be found. This film will be released in theaters on 15 November 2024. The film has been directed by Dheeraj Sarna.
