Ola Electric, one of the big electric two-wheeler companies, has started manufacturing Roadster electric motorcycle. Last year, the company had launched three variants of this electric motorcycle. Ola Electric has also teased two upcoming motorcycles – Arrowhead and Sportster.

The company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal has posted a picture of the Roadster being manufactured at the factory on social media. Bookings are being taken for this electric motorcycle. Its starting price is Rs 74,999. This electric motorcycle has features like LED projector headlamp, TFT touchscreen display, auto hill-hold assistance, Krutrim voice assistance, parking assist and group navigation.

The Roadster It can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is about 124 km/h. The company has claimed its range on a single charge to be around 200 kilometers. It has a 4.3 inch touchscreen. The price of the 2.5 kWh battery pack variant of Roadster of this motorcycle series is Rs 1,04,999, the 4.5 kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,19,999 and the 6 kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,39,999. It can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds. Its top speed is 126 km/h. Its range on a single charge is claimed to be around 579 kilometers.

The Roadster Pro of this electric motorcycle series can reach a speed of 0.40 km/h in just 1.2 seconds. Its top speed is around 194 km/h and range on a single charge is around 579 km. It has a 10 inch touchscreen. The price of the 8 kWh battery variant of Roadster Pro is around Rs 1,99,999. Ola Electric has deployed 1,000 electric scooters to ease transportation at the world’s largest religious event Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Ola has also launched Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app to offer technology-related mobility solutions during Mahakumbh. This app serves as a navigation and information platform. It contains information about the history and attractions of Kumbh Mela.
