The German Shepherd Breed’s dog Rin Tin Tin acted in about 27 films. His first film was the 1922 man from the Hales River. Rin Tin Tin worked with Warner Brosa Studio. He was mostly seen in Warner Studio films. It is claimed in media reports that the Warner Studio was able to stand on his feet again due to the Rin Tin Tin. The film Man from the Hales River was a tremendous success at the box-office, due to which this studio could repay its debt. This dog was trained by Dankain.

Rin Tin Tin was selected for the Oscar for a brilliant performance in the film, but just before the award ceremony was organized, the committee decided not to give the dog re -considering its decision. The members of the committee believed that the award to a dog would reduce its reputation and will not take this award serially.
