However, Parineeti refused to do this film and chose Amar Singh’s film Chamkila. Now, the actress has given the reason for refusing Animal.

Parineeti Chopra and her husband Raghav Chadha recently reached your court. During this, while talking to Rajat Sharma, he said, ‘I have no regrets about losing the role of Rashmika Mandanna in the film Animal. To be honest, I think God had something good in mind for me. I was doing that film (Animal) and everything was finalized, but at the same time I got an offer for the film Chamkila. The date of both was also the same.

Parineeti said, ‘I had received offers for many songs. I also got a chance to work with AR Rahman. Not only this, I got many other good opportunities. But, Imtiaz Ali is my dream director, so when I was getting so much to do, I chose Chamkila instead of Animal.

Parineeti further said, ‘I believe that I have no regrets about the love, support, recognition and respect that I got from this film. I am very happy.’

Raghav Chadha told that the film Chamkila strengthened their relationship a lot. He said, ‘When Parineeti returned to India, she came straight to Punjab to shoot the film. This gave us a chance to meet often, which further strengthened our relationship. Visiting Gurdwara Chamkaur Sahib deepens their relationship.

Animal came in the year 2023 Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Animal was released in theaters on December 1, while the film Chamkila was released on OTT this year. Apart from Parineeti, Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh was also seen in this film.
