New Delhi. The film All We Imagine Az Light, directed by Payal Kapadia, had a big shock in the Golden Globe and now missed the film Award at the Bafa Awards. Payal Kapadia’s film faced defeat at the hands of Friends. Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam starrer film was highly appreciated by critics. The All V Imagine Az Light was nominated in the Best Film in English Language in BAFTA, but lost to the Spanish-language French crime-musical “Emilia Perez”.

Jacques Audiard’s “Emilia Perez” won the award at the Best Non English Language category at the 78th BAFTA Awards. Payal Kapadia’s film has suffered a second major setback after facing defeat at the 82th Golden Globe Awards. This year, no Indian film has won the BAFTA Awards.
