New Delhi. Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is in the headlines for the much awaited film ‘Ramayana’. In this he will be seen in the role of Lord Ram. Recently Ranbir Kapoor talked about his movie for the first time. This film will be released in two parts. Ranbir Kapoor told that he has completed the shooting of the first part of ‘Ramayana’ and very soon he will start shooting for the second part.
In an interview given to Deadline, Ranbir Kapoor said, ‘I am currently working on a film, whose name is Ramayana. This is the greatest story of India. Namit Malhotra is making the movie. It includes artists, creators and crew members from all over the world. It is being made in two parts. This is the story of Lord Ram and Ravana. I got the opportunity to play the character of Lord Ram and it is a very exciting and satisfying opportunity for me as an actor.
Ranbir will shoot the second part
He said, ‘Nitesh Tiwari is directing the film. There are two parts in it. I have completed shooting for the first part and will soon shoot for the second part. It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of this story and play the character of Ram. It’s like a dream for me. This is a film which has everything. It teaches us about Indian culture. It is about family and husband-wife. That’s why I am very excited.
‘Ramayana’ will be released in two parts
According to media reports, Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita in ‘Ramayana’. Yash will play the role of Ravana in the film. Lara Dutta will play the role of Kaikeyi and Sunny Deol will play the role of Hanuman. Whereas, Sheeba Chaddha will be seen in the role of Manthara. Let it be known that ‘Ramayana’ was officially announced last month. Its first part will be released in the year 2026 and the second part in the year 2027.
