Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Navsari in Gujarat on the occasion of International Women’s Day today. Here he will address the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Vansi Borsi village. The special thing about this mega event of PM is that on the occasion of Women’s Day only a security cover of women policemen will be deployed.
On this occasion, 2,165 constables, 187 inspectors, 61 sub-inspectors, 19 DSPs, five DSPs, an IG and an ADG will take over the security from the policemen from the PM’s helipad to the venue.

PM will honor 1 lakh millionaires One lakh women from Navsari, Valsad and Dang districts will be involved in the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ to be held in Vansi-Borsi. The PM 10 will also interact with the beneficiaries and will honor the five millionaires by giving them certificates. A short movie showing the development of Gujarat will also be shown under this scheme. During the program, PM will also launch a G-failure initiative to promote economic self-reliance among women of Antyodaya families.

What is Lakhpati Didi Yojana? On 15 August 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the Lakhpati Didi Yojana to empower women financially. The scheme has been launched with the aim of bringing forward women of economically deprived backgrounds forward. Lakhpati Didi Yojana belongs to self -help groups being run for women in the country. These self -help groups include Banwali Didi, Anganwadi Didi and Drugwali Didi.

PM is on a two -day Gujarat tour PM Modi reached the Union Territory Silvassa at around 2 pm on Friday afternoon. Here he laid the foundation stone for the inauguration of 450 -bed Namo Hospital and a second phase with a capacity of 650 beds. From here, PM reached Surat in the evening. He had a 3 km long road show from the airport to Limbayat in Surat. After this, addressed the public meeting at the Nilgiri Ground in Limbayat. Today he will leave for Delhi after the program in Navsari.
