Allu Arjun was released from jail on Saturday. When I reached home, I hugged my mother.
Pushpa-2 actor Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail at around 6.30 am on Saturday morning. His father Allu Aravind and father-in-law Kancharala Chandrasekhar Reddy had reached the jail to take him. Allu remained in custody for about 18 hours. After release, Allu reached Geeta Arts Production House.
After this, Allu reached his home in Hyderabad around 9 o’clock. His eyes were lowered on the house. He hugged his mother and went inside. Met the family members. After that he came out again and talked to the media. Allu gave his first statement after his release.
I thank all the fans for the love and support. There is nothing to worry about. I am alright! I am a law abiding citizen. I once again express my condolences to the victim’s family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened.

Allu was arrested by the police at 12 noon on Friday. He is accused of arriving at Sandhya Theater without informing on December 4 during the premiere of Pushpa-2 in Hyderabad. Due to this a crowd gathered there and a stampede was created. One woman was killed and several people were injured.
After his arrest, he was produced in the local court at 4 o’clock, from where he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Allu had appealed to the Telangana High Court for interim bail.
At 5 pm, he was granted interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50 thousand. Meanwhile, Allu was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail. There he was kept in Class-1 barrack.
It was expected that Allu would be released on Friday night itself, but it did not happen. The jail administration had said that the court order copy was not received.
Allu’s lawyer said- Allu Arjun has now been released. The jail administration was given a copy of the High Court order, but he was not released earlier. This is illegal detention, we will take legal action. The jail administration will have to answer.
Allu had said- Police did not even allow him to have breakfast. On Friday, Allu Arjun had objected to the manner of his arrest. The actor had claimed that the police did not allow him to finish breakfast. Not even allowed to change clothes. A video of Allu was also revealed.

Case registered against Allu under section 105, 118 (1) of BNS
Police had earlier arrested Allu Arjun from his house. After this his statement was recorded. Then he was taken to Osmania Hospital for medical checkup. During this time his father-in-law Kancharla Chandrashekhar Reddy had reached Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad.
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun under section 105, 118 (1) of BNS. This is a non-bailable section. Allu’s personal bodyguard Santosh has also been arrested by the police.
In the High Court, Allu’s lawyer Shoka Reddy had mentioned Shahrukh’s film Raees case in his defence. He said, ‘During a promotion in Gujarat, Khan had thrown T-shirts at the crowd. After this there was a stampede. In this case the actor was accused of culpable homicide. The lawyer said that Gujarat High Court and Supreme Court had given relief to Shahrukh.
On Allu’s arrest, Varun Dhawan said, ‘An actor cannot take everything upon himself. We can explain to those who are around us. This accident that has happened is very painful. I pay tribute. It is unfortunate, but we cannot blame just one person.
