New Delhi. In 1981, the film ‘Love Story’ was released, with which two new stars entered the industry. Their first film was a blockbuster at the box office. Vijayta Pandit was seen in ‘Love Story’ with Kumar Gaurav and the pair created a stir. Kumar Gaurav’s career gained momentum with the film, but Vijayta could not get much success.
After working in films like ‘Mohabbat’, ‘Jeete Hain Shaan Se’, ‘Deewana Tere Naam Ka’, ‘Jaljala’, ‘Pyaar Ka Toofaan’, Vijayta Pandit distanced herself from the film screen and in 1990, she married well-known music composer Adesh Srivastava and got busy in her family life.
Shahrukh had promised to help his son
These days Vijayta Pandit has once again come into the limelight with her latest interview. Recently, she spoke openly about her life in an interview given to Lehran Retro. Talking about the most difficult phase of her life, she recalled the time when her husband Adesh Srivastava was battling cancer. Recalling that difficult phase of her life, the actress told that Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan used to come to meet her husband in difficult times and he had also promised to help her son Avitesh.
Shahrukh’s number is switched off
‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ actress Vijayta Pandit says, ‘Before dying, Adesh held Shah Rukh Khan’s hand and pointing towards our son Avitesh said that now you have to take responsibility for this. Today I am not able to contact Shah Rukh Khan. The number that was given to my son does not work now’.
The actress further says, ‘We need Shahrukh Khan. My son is the future of me and my family. I am not doing any work. I don’t even have money. Shahrukh Khan can make a film with my son under his production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. He (Avitesh) is a very good actor, he is doing a film called ‘Sir Ek Friday’ which will be released on OTT. He is working very hard. I want to remind Shahrukh that this is the time to come and help my son. He just needs a little support.’
Shahrukh’s net worth is thousand crores
Vijayta Pandit said that her music composer brothers Jatin and Lalit have played a big role in shaping Shahrukh Khan’s career. Today Shahrukh Khan is the biggest star of Bollywood. According to a Livemint report, the actor’s net worth is Rs 6300 crore.
