The makers of Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff and Vimal Pan Masala have been summoned in the Kota Consumer Court.

A social worker from Kota has demanded a ban on the advertisement of Paan Masala by registering a complaint against all these in the District Consumer Disputes Relations Commission. The Commission has issued a notice on this. The next hearing in the case will be held on 21 April.
Social activist and BJP leader Indramohan Singh Honey (Advocate) filed a petition on 13 November 2024 under Section 89 Consumer Protection Act.

The petition said- Saffron market price is about 4 lakh rupees per kg. In such a situation, there is a confused propaganda of saffron in Vimal Pan Masala on such a low rate (5 rupees pouches).
No concrete proof in this regard is also given by Vimal Pan Masala. Other warnings occur in such small words that it is not possible to read it.
The petitioner has demanded a delay on misleading and false advertisements. Along with this, they have also demanded a fine on them. The amount of fine has been requested to be deposited in the Youth Welfare Fund in the Ministry of Youth, Government of India.
Called by issuing notice
On this complaint, Commission Chairman Anurag Gautam and member Virendra Singh Rawat have summoned the producer of Shah Rukh, Ajay, Tiger and Vimal Pan Masala on 21 February 2025 and summoned it to the Consumer Court.
