Zee TV recently launched its new show ‘Bas Itna Sa Khwaab’ in Kanpur, which is based on the story of a woman’s struggle and her dreams. Rajshree Thakur, who is making a comeback on Zee TV after 17 years, is very excited about the show.
Rajshree said while talking to Dainik Bhaskar, ‘Returning to Zee TV after 17 years is very special for me. It’s like returning home, because this is where I started. I hope people will like this show. I thank my team who showed faith in me again.
The show is based on the story of women’s struggle and fulfillment of their dreams. Rajshree said, ‘In today’s era, it is very important for women to work. This not only strengthens their financial position but also increases self-confidence. However, for this there should be support from the family. When women maintain balance with family, they can perform better in every field. Rajshree Thakur’s opposite actor Yogendra Vikram Singh will be seen in this show.
Rajshree made her mark with the dark skin character in ‘Saat Phere’ 17 years ago. He said, ‘There are less problems like apartheid in Mumbai, but during promotions in small towns, girls told me that they face discrimination. I am happy that my character became an inspiration for him.
Apart from ‘Saat Phere’, Rajshri has worked in shows like ‘Sapna Babul Ka… Bidai’, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’, and ‘Apnapan – Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan’.
