Lawrence Bishnoi has an old enmity with Salman Khan.
Salman Khan was accused of hunting black buck in a village in Rajasthan in 1998. The Bishnoi community considers the black deer sacred. Salman was then shooting for the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ with Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre. Due to these allegations, Salman was stuck in legal trouble. Salman was arrested in this case which lasted for 26 years. He was released on bail, then acquitted. While Salman was convicted, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari were given the benefit of doubt and were acquitted.
