In a recent India Today report quoting sources related to the film, it has been written that Ranbir Kapoor will have to sport a new look in the film Dhoom 4 and before starting it, he is going to complete his 2 existing projects. The shooting of Dhoom 4 is planned to start in April 2026. The production team is currently trying to lock 2 female leads for the film. Actresses from South Industry are being considered for the film.
Some time ago it was revealed that Aditya Chopra is preparing to take this franchise forward after 3 successful films of Dhoom franchise. Ayan Mukherjee can direct this film, while Vijay Krishna Acharya is associated with this film as a writer. Before this, Vijay Krishna Acharya had also directed Dhoom 3, released in 2013.
