Redmi A5 with 6GB ram Android 15 spotted on FCC listing tipped to launch soon

Xiaomi may soon launch another budget phone in the market which could be a Redmi sub-brand device. The phone was recently seen in FCC certification. The phone is said to be Redmi A5 with codename 25028RN03L. The FCC listing shows that the phone will also support 5G. It will also have dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Redmi A5 could be the company’s next budget 5G phone about which leaks are continuously coming out. The FCC listing of the phone states (via) that it will be equipped with Android 15 operating system. On top of which Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 can be seen. The RAM-storage configuration of the phone also suggests that it may be offered as a budget device.

The initial variant of Redmi A5 can come with 3 GB RAM, 64 GB storage. Apart from 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, variants like 4 GB RAM-128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM-128 GB storage can also be seen in it.

XiaomiTime report says that Xiaomi can also launch a rebranded version of this phone. This phone can be launched with the name of Poco C71. Like Redmi A5, this will also be a budget phone in which good performance, display, and camera quality can be seen. The phone can be launched in compact design. Support of features like NFC can also be seen in it.

However, no indication has been given by Xiaomi regarding these smartphones yet. But these have been seen on various certifications. This shows that the phones can hit the global market soon. The launch time is said to be around February 2025.
