Gizmochina’s AccordingIn response to a user’s question on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, Xiaomi executive Thomas Wang has hinted that the launch of Redmi Turbo 4 has been postponed. Wang recently said that the company is planning to launch the upcoming Turbo smartphone by the end of December. Wang wrote in his reply, “Plans have changed!”
Reports say that Turbo 4 will be announced in January 2025. At present the reason for the delay in launch is not known. It is also possible that the reason behind this is the recently launched Redmi K80 series, which has been performing well since its launch. The models of the series have sold well in the last few weeks. It is possible that the company wants to focus on the sales of this series for now. However, this is just a speculation.
Previous reports had claimed that the Redmi Turbo 4 will have a flat OLED screen, which will offer 1.5K resolution. Although the battery size of the device is unknown, it may support 90W rapid charging. The device is likely to be priced between 1,500 Yuan (roughly Rs. 17,500) and 2,000 Yuan (roughly Rs. 23,300).
