Javed said that people who go against the rules of society are punished because of scientific thinking. He explained with an example, ’20th and 21st century is the time of schizophrenia. People have split personalities.’
Scientists were taunted for praying to God
Javed sahab further explained his point by giving the example of the moon and said, ‘In India, a man from ISRO can send a rocket to a part of the moon… but on the moon there is Chandralok, gods and goddesses used to live, you are sending a rocket there and as soon as it reaches there, you go to the temple. This is schizophrenia. This has happened for the first time in human history when your knowledge and information and your religious thinking are not matching.’
The umbilical cord is connected to the dark age
After this, Javed Akhtar said that all religions are in the ‘Dark Age’ and he said, ‘All these religions, without any exception, are from the Dark Age. Their roots are connected to the Dark Age. He said that the umbilical cord of the people has not been cut from the Dark Age.
