In the case of attack on Saif Ali Khan, arrested accused Shariful Islam has come to the face recognition test positive. The accused was produced in Bandra Court on Wednesday (January 29) after the police custody of Shariful Islam ended. The court sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.

The accused may have some other companions, whose investigation continues. Also, the case of sending money to Shariful’s relatives is also under investigation.
Here, on Tuesday, the Mumbai Police held a press conference over the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Additional Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya said, “We have caught Shariful Islam in this case, he is the right accused.” He told that we have many strong evidence against this accused.
Dahiya also said that in some reports it is being claimed that the fingerprints found from Saif’s house do not match Shariful’s fingerprints. We are investigating fingerprints, till now we have not reached any conclusion.
Saif Ali Khan’s house was attacked at 2 pm on 16 January. He suffered injuries on hands, spinal cord and back. Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai was treated for 5 days.
