The accused, who attacked Saif Ali Khan, was produced in Bandra Court today after the police custody of Shariful Islam ended. The court has sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.

On Tuesday, the Mumbai Police held a press conference over the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Additional Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya said, “We have caught Shariful Islam in this case, he is the right accused.” He told that we have many strong evidence against this accused.

Dahiya also said that in some reports it is being claimed that the fingerprints found from Saif’s house do not match Shariful’s fingerprints. We are investigating fingerprints, till now we have not reached any conclusion.

Please tell that at 2 pm on January 16, Saif Ali Khan’s house was attacked. He suffered injuries on hands, spinal cord and back. Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai was treated for 5 days.
