Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh died on Thursday night at the age of 92. There is a wave of mourning in the film industry including the country. Meanwhile, Saira Banu has also shared a post on social media, condoling his demise. Through this post, he has shared the story of the meeting of Dilip Kumar and Manmohan Singh.
Former PM had offered the chair to Dilip Kumar – Saira Banu
The actress has shared an old photo on Instagram after the death of former PM Manmohan Singh. While sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption – ‘I remember very well the meeting of Dilip Sahab and Sultan Bhai with Doctor Singh, when Dilip Sahab came out of the car, the former Prime Minister welcomed him with a smile, I was surprised to see this. Later when we went to his room, there was only one chair placed around a small table. Seeing this, Dr. Singh picked up another chair and very lovingly gave the chair to Dilip Sahab.

Praising the former PM, Saira Banu further wrote – This sense of respect itself says a lot about that person. He left us but his legacy is recorded in the pages of Indian history. Today the whole country is remembering his humility and intelligence. May his soul rest in peace.
