Jodhpur. Salman Khan’s security has also been increased amid the controversies over the name of Lawrence Bishnoi after the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Salman has applied for an arms license in Mumbai, to which Bishnoi community expressed its objection and submitted a memorandum to Jodhpur District Collector Gaurav Aggarwal. In the memorandum, Bishnoi community says that four cases related to deer hunting and Arms Act are still pending against Salman in Rajasthan High Court and Supreme Court.
Bishnoi Tiger Force President Rampal Bhavad termed it as a violation of wildlife justice and demanded from the government that Salman’s cases should be resolved quickly. He said that it is wrong to give arms license to Salman Khan due to pending cases against him. The society also says that giving license to any accused is against the law, and this decision can open the way for giving license to everyone.
Bishnoi community leader Parasram said that giving arms license to any criminal is against the law, hence licenses will be distributed to everyone.
