He expressed his displeasure and said that how can this happen like this. He accepted that his visa has been cancelled, even though he had followed all the rules and orders of the law. Still his visa was rejected.

According to a report published in the Times of India, Sanjay Dutt has given his reaction on the news of UK visa being rejected. The superstar said, ‘What the UK authorities did was not right. Initially, they gave me a visa and everything was done there. Everything was perfect and ready. Then, after a month, they cancelled my visa. I had given them all the necessary documents. Why did they give me a visa in the first place? And why did it take them a month to remember their laws?’

Sanjay Dutt revealed that he accepted his visa a month ago, he had also made all the bookings, but why was it rejected later. Further in the conversation, when Sanjay Dutt was asked about his special role in the film ‘Son of Sardar 2’, he said, ‘I do not know about this’. He further says, ‘I do not think I am missing anything. However, what they (the British authorities) have done is wrong. I am a law-abiding citizen and I respect the law of every country. Still I am not able to understand why this happened.

Visa was rejected due to this reason
The story of the reason for Sanjay Dutt’s visa being rejected is quite old. The matter is related to a 31-year-old case. You will remember that in April 1993, Sanjay was arrested under TADA and Arms Act. He was later found guilty of violating the Arms Act for possessing illegal weapons purchased from other accused in the 1993 Bombay bomb blasts. He was sentenced to five years in prison. In March 2013, the Supreme Court upheld his five-year sentence and after getting bail several times, he finally completed his jail term in 2016. During this time, Sanjay Dutt was also banned from going anywhere. His visa was cancelled from here, for which Sanjay Dutt later applied for UK visa several times.
