New Delhi: In the recently released Netflix documentary series The Roshans, director Rakesh Roshan shares his turbulent experience while making the film Karan Arjun with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. In a new interview, the filmmaker said that he prays every day before going to the sets, and hopes that he doesn’t lose his temper with Shah Rukh and Salman. He told Connect Cine, ‘In all my films, I was in my comfort zone. Only in Karan Arjun, right from the beginning, there were days when things were happening and I didn’t know why they were happening. But I got over it. I used to pray every morning, ‘I must not lose my temper. They are immature or rather fully mature boys. Let them behave as they are. I must not lose my temper, and I must complete my work. This is how I completed the film, at the same time when I took dates from him.

Regarding the documentary, Rakesh had further said, ‘Shahrukh did not trust this story at all… he started losing interest in the film. When a shot is ready, even though the sun is setting, they do not come when we call them. They come at the last moment and we have to finish the shot quickly. Shatrughan Sinha confirmed these claims in the series and said, ‘They i.e. Shahrukh and Salman harassed him (Rakesh). They made fun of him or did not cooperate with him.
