Mumbai. Ever since Mukesh Khanna has shared the idea of making a film on ‘Shaktimaan’, Ranveer Singh is being linked with this film. Rumors also surfaced that Ranveer has met Mukesh Khanna and expressed excitement about the role of Shaktimaan. However, not once or twice, but many times Mukesh made it clear that he did not want Ranveer to play this role. Referring to Ranveer’s 2022 nude photoshoot for a magazine, Mukesh had claimed that an actor with such an image cannot play the role of a superhero.
After this, Tiger Shroff’s name came up for the role of ‘Shaktimaan’. Tiger had done a superhero film named ‘The Flying Jatt’. Although this film flopped. While talking to ABP Live, Mukesh has commented on Tiger playing the role of ‘Shaktiman’. He said that Tiger is a popular actor. Yet he also made fun of Tiger.

Mukesh Khanna said, “Forgive me, but if Tiger Shroff asks a child to flush the toilet as Shaktiman, the child will turn around and tell him, ‘Tu Baith Ja’.” Mukesh explained, “He is still a child among children, that is his (Tiger’s) image. He did not have the stature to play the role of Shaktimaan, which had seriousness not because of me, but because of his character.”
Mukesh Khanna further said, “Shaktiman is not a mindless brawler. He has seriousness, he is intelligent. He is a grown man, for God’s sake.” He further claimed that Shaktiman’s power is incredible and he is not like an ‘ordinary’ Arnold Schwarzenegger or beloved superheroes Iron Man and Superman. He wants the stature of the new Shaktiman to be such that it makes him credible.
