New Delhi: Hindi cinema is the most prosperous film industry in the world and has helped India a lot in becoming a soft power. However, there was a period when everything was not well. Mafia and underworld had once cast an evil eye on Bollywood. An old video of Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan has surfaced on social media, in which he is seen talking about his struggle.
Shahrukh Khan had said, ‘Hindi film industry is the simplest industry. We are the largest producer of films in the world. Shahrukh told that he was asked to do a film. When he asked who the producer was, the reply was, ‘This is the man we are sending.’ You talk to him and sign the film.

When he refused to work in the film
Shahrukh Khan said, ‘If you fear life, you sign it or if you are ready to try your luck, you reject it.’ Shahrukh had refused to do the film. It was also told in many media reports that King Khan had received death threats for his refusal. When asked if he was ever threatened, he said, ‘Yes, it has happened on many occasions.
