Police took the help of CCTV cameras and technical surveillance to know how Vaishali reached a ruins factory of diamonds from her home. To trace Vaishali, footage of more than 100 cameras across the city was taken out. This attempt of the police also proved to be effective.
In one footage, Vaishali was seen with his close friend Babita Kaushik. When information related to Babita was collected, his mobile location was around the network tower where Vaishali’s body was found. The police suspected that Babita definitely knows something.

The police had to interrogate them, but it was found that she was 8 months pregnant. In view of human aspects, the police were hesitant to interrogate him. For some time Babita drew Vaishali’s attention in talks and at the same time by betel nut killers strangled him to death. The three put the body of Vaishali in the car and drove and parked near the Pardi river.
When the matter was revealed, Vaishali’s husband Hitesh was surprised, as he was not even aware that his wife had lent 25 lakh rupees to his friend. A month after the murder, the police arrested one of the two betel nuts, while one is still away from the police.
