Skoda has launched its sub-compact SUV Kaylak in India. This is the smallest SUV of the Czech Republican company in India so far. Its design is inspired by Kushaq. The cabin has a black and gray theme with silver and chrome accents all around.
Skoda Kaylak is equipped with features like 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats and electric sunroof. Apart from this, for safety, the sub-4 meter SUV has been provided with features like 6 airbags as standard, electronic stability control and traction control.
Introductory starting price Rs 7.89 lakh The sub-4 meter SUV has been introduced in four variants. This includes Classic, Signature, Signature Plus and Prestige. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 7.89 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom Pan-India). The company has not shared the variant wise price list of Kaylak. It is expected that all the prices will be revealed at the Global Mobility Show 2025.
Bookings for the Kayak SUV will begin from December 2, while deliveries will begin from January 27, 2025, after being showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It competes with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Apart from this, it will give competition to sub-4 meter crossovers like Maruti Suzuki Swift and Toyota Tigger.
