New Delhi. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in their 7-year-old relationship by getting married on June 23 this year. There were many reasons behind their marriage being much talked about, firstly both of them being from different religions, secondly Shatrughan Sinha’s statement before marriage and then just before the marriage he said that he agreed with his daughter’s decision. Along with this, the news of Sonakshi’s brother being angry also gave the message that even though Sonakshi is ready to marry Zaheer, the family is not happy with her decision. Sonakshi and Zaheer decided to tie the knot for 7 lives with utmost simplicity. People were hoping that pictures of Sonakshi’s mehendi and turmeric would also be revealed. But, Sonakshi did not apply mehendi at the wedding. He revealed the reason behind this recently.
