Actress Bhanupriya looked like Sridevi. The makers asked Sridevi to work in the film. But the actress was demanding higher fees. An attempt was made to convince Sridevi, but no success was achieved. After this the makers offered the movie to Bhanupriya and she also agreed to do the work.

Bhanupriya got a different fame after working in this film of T. Rama Rao. Many fans recognized that she was not Sridevi. So for some fans it was difficult to differentiate between the two actresses. Sridevi died on 24th February in the year 2018. The actress said goodbye to the world at the age of 54.
