What happened in mouthpiece Saamana
The party wrote in an editorial published in mouthpiece Saamana, ‘…Is justice done by law, as per the provisions of the Constitution? Now the judges should ask their respective Gods about this. Chandrachud Saheb has shown that path. Chief Justice says, ‘When the matter of Babri case, Ram temple in Ayodhya came before me, I sat in front of God. I prayed to God to resolve this matter. I told God, ‘Now you have to find a solution.’ Mouthpiece Saamana further writes, ‘Before which God did the Chief Justice sit for prayer? In front of the thirteenth incarnation of Vishnu or the fourteenth incarnation? After the solution, Ram temple was built in Ayodhya, but it is certain that Lord Shri Ram of the temple was not happy with the thirteenth incarnation in the Lok Sabha elections. The court should not get involved in matters of faith. Here the provisions of the law become ineffective.
What did the CJI say?
Last week, CJI Chandrachud had reached his native village Kanhersar in Khed taluka of Pune. He said, ‘Often cases come to us (for decision), but we are not able to reach a solution. Something similar happened during Ayodhya (Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute), which was in front of me for three months. I sat before God and told him that he had to find a solution. He had said, ‘Believe me, if you have faith, God will always find a way.’
The decision was given in 2019
