In the study, data of some people aged 20 to 60 years suffering from lymphoma between 2007 and 2017 were taken. The study found that 21% of people suffering from lymphoma had tattoos on their bodies. This study has been published in the eClinical Medicine Journal.
Another study was conducted in July this year. In this study, 75 samples of tattoo and permanent makeup ink used in America were examined. In the investigation, researchers found that 26 out of 75 samples contained infection-causing bacteria. This study has been published in the magazine Applied and Environmental Microbiology.
