Another study was conducted in July this year. In this study, 75 samples of tattoo and permanent makeup ink used in America were examined. In the investigation, researchers found that 26 out of 75 samples contained infection-causing bacteria. This study has been published in the magazine Applied and Environmental Microbiology.
